Lint in the finish, too much drag from the mop, too many trips to the bucket
and uneven coats are problems that have plagued everyone who lays finish
when recoating a floor.
ETC of Henderson, Inc. has developed a unique, high tech mop that, for the
first time ever, solves these problems. It's called Great White and is so
unique they have applied for a US Patent.
The first thing you will notice when you pull the mop across the floor.....is
that it glides rather than drags! There is over 25% less drag. You think
the mop is floating. After laying finish with this mop, you will never go
back to using a regular finish mop.
Immediately, you notice that the coats of finish are more even. The yarn's
ability to hold the finish with surface tension allows Great White to release
the finish more evenly and more completely as it is pulled across the floor.
This even release of finish gives you over 150% more square footage per
trip to the bucket Combine this with a much smoother, more glossy initial
finish. You can get up to 20% more initial gloss.
Because the finish is laid more evenly and the fact that the yarn does not
absorb the finish, (but simply holds it until it can be applied to the floor),
you can save up to 15% of your finish costs. Great White does not need washing
to get the finish out of the fibers after use, simply rinse clean in water
and hang to dry. The water will fall out of the mop and when it dries, it
dries flexible (not stiff) for your next job.
Never machine wash or machine dry as this will introduce lint into the mop!
Your valuable floor finish will not pick up any lint from the Great White
lint free finish mop. Due to the structure of the high tech filament yarn
used in making this mop, it is not capable of linting. With this absence
of lint in your finish, you will notice it is smoother, and will stand up
to traffic longer, since there are fewer contaminates and surface blemishes.
It's important for the surface of your finish to have as few blemishes as
possible since these are the first to begin catching and trapping dirt in
your finish. Also, lint can be one of the causes of that dreaded powdering
sometimes seen in burnishing.
The yarn is the secret to all of the incredible features this mop brings
with it. With a high tech filament yarn, the fiber is a smooth shaft that
runs the complete length of the mop, hence there is no linting from short
multiple fibers falling out of the twisted yarn as you find in common mops.
